How to Design Your Own 2023 Custom Apparel

Rugby or Netball? On-field or off-field? Our immersive Design-Your-Own page is an awesome platform to quickly yet effectively build your custom kits and uniforms. Trusted since 1975, we supply kits for all ages, levels and sports, including Rugby League, Rugby Union, Touch Footy, Football, Soccer, Netball, Basketball, Cricket, AFL, Hockey as well as School Uniforms like Senior Jerseys. We combine expert service with high quality products and a quick turnaround to be Australia's favourite apparel supplier. This blog is going to showcase and walkthrough our easy Design-Your-Own (DYO) process so you can follow along and leave the rest up to us.

Step 1: Enter the Design Station

Now we said this process is easy, and we are starting with the easiest step. Simply pull up our website if you havent already at struddys.com.au and click the “Design Your Own” tab in our home bar as pictured below. Alternatively, you can click here to enter the Design Station.

Step 2: Select your garment

You cant design or style without a garment! Our list of garments cover all uniforms, sports and preferences. From Jerseys, Tees, Polos, Singlets, Shorts, Bike Pants, Socks, Dress, School Leavers, Jackets, Hoodies, Caps and Gilets. Select the garment that best suits your requirements for your custom uniform. For the remainder of this blog, we are using a jersey.

Step 3: Select your style

If you're not prompted to select a style, do not panic! For several of our garments we have style options, and for the others we only have the one so this step is skipped. As shown below, when selecting a jersey, you have the option of a standard players jersey, or our endurance range option. If you look closely you will notice that the Endurance has a set-in sleeve whereas the players jersey has a raglan sleeve.

Step 4: Choose a design to edit

Depending on the garment you pick, you will see a wide variety of designs to choose from. Pick the one you like the most and click into it to see all the customisation options available. If you dont like the one you pick, you can always go back and pick a different one.

They are all great designs, no right or wrong answer, however we’re sure you’ll have at least a couple favourites.

Step 5: Customise your jersey

Now this is where the fun begins. Here you’ve got a whole host of personalisation options to design the perfect uniform. We are very proud to be able to offer such an immersive and unique platform that allows people to build a kit they love and change even the finest of details. From the ability to change all sets of colours, to the numbering and inserts, and even the ability to add in your own logo, players names and number.

Step 6: Saving Your Design

Now that is a nice kit. We’re guessing you think the same. Now if you are happy with your design, click the “add to booklet” button and you will go straight to the final stop.

Here you can fill out the form and submit it so that our team can start building a quote for you, or you can ‘Add another product’ and continue designing your own kit. If we are getting a jersey, you are likely to want some shorts and socks too. Our platform lets you design your entire kit in one go. Once you are done, simply fill out the form and our team will pick it up from there.

Dont forget to ‘Print and Save Booklet’ to keep your designs for your reference too.

Step 7: Sit back and relax

Once the submission comes through, our team will pick up your designs and starting building a quote for you.

Generally, one of our friendly staff members will reach out within 2 business days with any questions they have or a final quote for you to review.

Want to see what happens once the quote is finalised and the garments start the manufacturing process?
